My colleague consolidated top difficult problems (pp 2) from the school papers of prelims

Then she made the whole class do. Normally we only have soft copy around sep holidays.
So, in term 4, last few days b4 actual psle math paper, my own dd has nothing to do... the class will just focus on that top questions in class.
This was her strategy I observed, 2 years ago when she took her PSLE.

Ps this colleague has been teaching the best class in Math where it's expected 90% is expected with AL 1. (On paper when she will get the cream of the cream of the cohort.)

On the other spectrum,
She also teaches the last class of standard.. those hover around 30+ /40 for prelims.
Usu this is called the tail end of standard. Just right above foundation.
The strategy for this class students is different from the first class. It's more of trying to get basic concepts right, and maybe focuses more on pp1. Than pp2.
Really depends on the student's profile.

All the best for your child! Jia you. 💪
