PAL and MDPW

PAL lesson tomorrow:
---------------------------
Art materials ( please bring the same as you had done so on Tuesday.)
I mentioned to some of them they need more newspapers. Otherwise, the tables were dirtied as some of them spilled the water onto it. Hence, please bring extra newspapers. They can too be kept in class for future use.
For art lesson on Tuesday, we don't have much time to wash their palettes as the lesson is only an hour, please bring a plastic bag so they can wrap the dirtied one in it, and bring the clean one back to class the next day.

All resources should be kept in class. So, they will not need to carry a heavy bag.

Thanks.

I'll be teaching outdoor module in July with them. We will then have the cooking session around session 4. Will also require parents volunteers for the cooking. (About 5, one per group).
More details will be announced as we approach the dates.

Other updates:
------------------
There is MDPW (multi-disciplinary project work) taking place in the last week of this term. Same like last year, all lessons except Mother Tongue is frozen.
Will need parent volunteers to come for the week. The ideal scenario is 1 group with 1 adult. All of them will be spread across the classes. They will be grouped based on the topics they will choose. This is also a good time to make more friends across the level, as we have more diversity. Only 1 group will stay with me, while the rest will be dispersed among the other P2 teachers.
Actual dates of MDPW: March 7-11.
Please let me know in advance if u can join us. It's a great chance to bond with your children too! Also, as they are in their groups of friends, (the people they like to work with now), it's also a good chance to bond with your child's best friends during this week.

From past experience, you need not be there for the entire week. If u are able to commit about 3 days, that would already be great.

There will be a celebration of projects happening on the last day of school, March 11.

All parents are most welcomed to come and join in what they have completed and done.

The only criteria is the adult must be able to understand English.
Will update if I have more information after next week. Meanwhile, if you are keen, pls do block out those dates as specified.

Date for briefing: 17 February 2016 (evening time, about 6 pm. Timing to be finalized later.)

Regards
Mdm Chan
