I've got a question to ask you with regard to the way that the Chinese teacher folded the pages to indicate homework for my child. Is there any rationale behind this way to indicate homework? I also notice that whenever there's homework, the pages will be folded exaggeratedly. It becomes a big concern to me as my child is using the same way on other books, she even used the folding method on library books. She confidently answer me: (My teacher do that too), when I tired to correct her. I am not only worried this might become a habit for her, but also will become a habit to her younger sister, as they are very much close to each other. May I sincerely suggest if it is possible to use the Student Diary or post it on the teacher's blog to indicate homework instead? Or any other method other then folding the pages, that is more convenient the to teachers? We hereby wishes A Happy Chinese New Year to all teachers.
